The object I chose for my project was a music box that played ‘Happy Birthday’ when you wound the handle. The first and second shot mainly stands for how big music is in my life. Being as the guitar case is unveiling the music box it’s showing that music is life. With life you age and it’s celebrated by this song recognising that you’ve made it through another year. The guitar case represents that music is what gets me through life, so I can have another birthday and I have lived another year.

The third shot is showing how the screws holding yourself together have come loose and the focus is on the screws because when you’re only barley holding on you sometimes question where it all went wrong. The answer is that it all went wrong when your screws first came loose, and it all went downhill from there.

The last two shots show the mess created after you finally snap. The chaos in the background represents the damage and destruction created by your actions. It is basicaly showing the sequence of surviving another year, to losing your screws, to finally snapping you are left with this mes that you didn’t ask for and you don’t know how to fix or if it can even be fixed. It shows that you start with this beautiful music box, then somehow you end up with a broken, burnt lifeless hunk of junk.
